Crockpot Chili

One of my favorite recipes is one I’ve been using for years now. It’s simple and quick to make.

   Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 4 cans Black Beans(drained)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 jar salsa
  • 1 packet chili seasoning
  • 1/2 onion
  • cilantro
  • 1/2 lb. ground turkey
  • shredded cheese

How to make:

  1. Place crock pot bag inside slow cooker.
  2. Brown the ground turkey.
  3. While the ground turkey is in the skillet, toss black beans, diced tomatoes, salsa, chili seasoning, onion and cilantro into slow cooker.
  4. After ground turkey has been browned, toss into slow cooker and mix ingredients together.
  5. Cook on LOW for 5-6 hours.
  6. Serve with shredded cheese on top and eat with chips. (I like the lime Tostitos!)
